Shannon coached a private beam instruction to 10 of the athletes, while the remaining team members and aspiring gymnasts looked on and learned. Shannon stayed to talk with the girls offering advice from her experience and training, taking questions and sharing fun vignettes from her time as a competitor. Laura joined Shannon in a photograph and autograph session, not leaving until the girls had every autograph and photograph completed and many happy memories to take home.
