Katie (Age 12) Level 7

Katie is an amazing Level 7 gymnast. As a young child she came to Flips at the age of five. After joining the Star Team she excelled very quickly to Level 5 and won State Champion. Her other accomplishments include succeeding in getting her giant on uneven bars, back-tuck on beam, and full (a twist during a layout) on floor. Her goals in gymnastics this year are to win Level 7 at State and gain her series on low beam.
In school, Katie is brilliant with straight "A's" and received an award for most dependable in school. She also sung a solo in front of her music class.
Her outside goals include doing well in seventh grade by making straight "A's" the entire year. She is planning to do pre-AP math, and pre-AP science in the eighth grade. Katie also enjoys swimming, cooking, and working on the computer.

Katie had a great season topping it off with a 4th place finish at South State qualifing her for the Gold Division berth at State. At State Katie performed well with an eleventh place finish at State. Great job Katie!
