Tori (Age 10)

Tori started gymnastics at the tender age of two. She recently joined Flips from a gym in Spring, Texas. In 2006, in her first competition with Flips at Level 7, Tori burst onto the scene with a first place All-Around finish.

First place all-around awards are not new to Tori, at Level 5 she climbed the podium for the All-Around award and at Level 6 she attained the third place spot at State. Her goal for this year competing at Level 8 is to qualify for the regional competition. Her favorite events are vault and beam with her favorite skills being front walkovers on beam and fulls on floor.

Tori has high goals, just one is to qualify as an elite gymnast. She is highly recognized at school winning the “Winship Elementary Citizenship award in 2005-06. She is also on the honor roll with all A’s.

Tori has many free-time interests including Girl Scouts where she earned her “Junior Girl Scout Bronze Award,” the “God and Me Award” and the “God and Family Award”. She loves cross-stitching, quilting, reading, drawing and writing in her journal.
